What a night, last night was, "Fightmare IV" in Lavonia, GA. Around 50 or so people were in attendance to see all kinds of action.
First and foremost, I want to send a big thanks out to Shayne Castro and Johnny Love for allowing me and BLVD a chance to come back to the IWA. Also a thank you to Dale Cleveland for putting us in a match.
The entry way was AWESOME!!! I loved it! I also like the band that was there playing throughout the night, it put a nice touch to the show.
So where can I start? Well I was very surprised that some of my MAXW brothers got a match on the card. In a hardcore 6 man tag match it was Bubba Hogg Jr, Draco & Big Country faced Matt Sells, JT Chase & Sly Storm. Now this was right up Sly's alley, since he eat, sleep and breathes HARDCORE. At one point in the match, Sly threw his hockey stick end over end and popped Big Country right in the head. Later on in the night Country had the impression of the hockey stick on his forehead. In the end Country's team prevailed.
Matthews and Tower tore the house down with one of the most gruesome matches I've seen. Tower was bleeding like crazy and in the end Merce picked up the win. After the lost, Tower picked up the mic and gave an heartfelt speech and announced that was his last match in the IWA:FF.....to everyone's surprise.
Casey J vs Crazii Shae in the Scaffold Match................one word d**n!!! I knew someone was going to get hurt in this match, the scaffold was every bit of 25ft. About mid way through the match, Casey J went underneath the ring and all of a sudden Purple Passion's music hit and from the other end of the ring, out came Passion. The crowd went crazy. Passion climbed the scaffold and ripped off mask and revealed it was Casey J............. !! Shae won after hitting a moonsault from half-way up the scaffold. The lockeroom rushed the ring to check on both guys. Casey had got cut on top of his head that needed 6 staples to close.
Now I want to talk about my match. BLVD and myself came out wearing the MAXW tag team titles as we faced Billy Star & Panhead Nelson and the IWA:FF tag team champions, "StateLine" Sawyer & Ex. This match was a pretty good match. In the end Sawyer and Ex picked up the win after BLVD got hit with tornado bulldog from Sawyer.
I want to take a minute to address something else.....PANHEAD NELSON!!! This is the most unprofessional guy to every step into a ring. For a guy to be in the business for as long as he has, he is dangerous in the ring. His size is about 300lb at 6'2. During the match he hooked BLVD with a high closeline that could have seriously hurt BLVD's neck. While I was in the match with Panhead he dropped a very stiff knee drop to my head and several stiff kicks to me. Of course I answered back with a very stiff punch to his ribs. Well after the match, Panhead caught BLVD in the ring and gave him a severe kick to the groin, then he reached through the ropes and slapped BLVD in the face. This pissed me off!! Panhead left the school about 5 minutes after that happened. He knew he was in the wrong and after watching the tape over and over I still can't see why he was so mad. Needless to say this isn't the first time Panhead acted stupid in one of his matches. He has been known for leaving a match while the match is still going on because he gets mad and just walks out. Some time last year, I faced Panhead and he shot on of my moves for the hell of it. So in the near future if anyone has to face Panhead Nelson..............take my word, be very careful. This man will hurt you!
Fightmare IV is in the record books and I'm glad I can say that I've participated in every Fightmare!
