Packed house at the American Coliseum for another wild night of American Pro Wrestling. Lets get right to the action.
Pitbull & Khaos w/General Robert Wright started the night with a win over two newcomers Bloodhunter & Firebird. The new team showed some fight, Bloodhunter started looking like the new team would emerge victorious but their luck ran out. Khaos & Pitbull may have tag goals on their mind. Their first outing was a success.
King James McHone called out new U S Champion Erik "The Answer" Anton and demanded a rematch for Alex Stone tonight. Anton answered and said he knew McHone was only trying to take advantage of Anton's injured ribs from the casket match last week. Anton accepted the match on the condition that McHone agree that this be Stone's LAST CHANCE at the title, turning the tables on McHone. McHone agreed but it was all a setup as Stone charged in the front door and beat Anton down and battered his already bandaged ribs. Stone & McHone left Anton badly beaten in the middle of the ring.
K 9 & Rude Dogg D Chainsaw Charlie & Don Doolittle It would be kind to say Chainsaw & Doolittle's win/loss record is bad. It would be accurate to say its very bad. At any rate, K9 & his brother Rude Dogg will take the W and move on in APW tag team rankings.
King James McHone called out not one but FOUR bounty hunters saying he was having a tough time deciding who gets the shot tonight. Big Daddy Z & Will Soprano took the refusal with class but APW veteran Big Hammer was quite riled at McHone for refusing him. Matt "Sex" Sells emerged the winner and really got under the skin of the APW faithful with his mouth and overall attitude.
The Brick D Randall Johnson The massive Brick who debuted last week impressed the APW crowd once again and Johnson was good but just was overpowered easily by the huge Brick. This man could be very dangerous in APW.
APW Tag Team Champions The Clash D Travis Blackwelder & Ostgard Blackwelder & Ostgard have never teamed in APW but clearly have worked together before as they worked quite well together. It appeared the challengers might pull the shocker but it was not to be. Force & Kindred continue their winning ways becoming more popular every week.
APW Champion Chief Jay Eagle D Matt "Sex" Sells w/King James McHone in the APW Title Bounty Match. Sells was impressive but once again the Chief turned back McHone's latest mercenary. Eagle demanded a Strap Match with McHone but the "King" hedged his bets. He seemed willing to take the match "in a few weeks" but no doubt this match will never come to pass if McHone has his way about it.
A J Frost & Blazing Ike Stevens D The Killer Nick Fury & Texas Johnny Dollar w/King James McHone Frost & Stevens are forming a bond in APW fueled by their rivalry with Fury. Frost got his hands on Fury but only briefly as Dollar broke things up. Frost got the pin on Dollar, but Fury jumped Frost after the win. Fury laid him out with his Vertebreaker and choked Frost out afterwards. Dollar used his branding iron to brand Frost and McHone declared Frost FINISHED. No doubt Frost will be looking for revenge on all 3 men.
U S Champion Erik "The Answer" Anton D Hard Rock Alex Stone w/King James McHone A great match that could have gone either man's way ended when McHone tried to interfere but Anton escaped and Stone nailed McHone instead. Anton then nailed his Sit Down Rock Bottom for a hard earned win over Stone, thus ending Stone's pursuit of the U S Title.
The Rednecks XXL Honest Doug & Bubba Hogg D Cold Hearted w/Dash Riprock. Riprock's debut with Iceman & Blackheart was less than impressive as his umbrella once again went off target and the Rednecks gained another win.
Will Snapp D Mickey Richards in a tag team Captains Match No doubt the war between The Blonz & Team Ego will not end with one victory here. Shane Austin and Abel Adams will both return and will both surely have their say in the tag team rankings.
Southern Champion Romeo Mark Slain D Handsome D L Kool Romeo's former Family ally Dookie 2 Times met Romeo on his way to the ring and a tense situation appeared to calm down as the former partners shook hands, seeming to make peace. Romeo gained the win over Kool but Dookie hit the ring and blasted his partner after the contest. The former partners are clearly no longer allies and Dookie once again has his sights set on the Southern Championship.
Mack Truck & Shane Steele D Squeaky & Bobby Diamond in a bit of a surprise. Truck & Steele are an odd tag team on the surface but worked well in this outing. Will the cruiserweight and the big mother trucker see fit to team regularly??
