reported by JB @ Rikki Regal .Com
The show opens with a somber acting Jordan Richards covering the rules and going over the specials for tonight’s show when the familiar OSQ (Old School Quad) music hits and out come OSQ sans 2. Only Scottie Wrenn and Brodie Chase come to the ring. The two OSQ members respectfully inform the fans that they didn’t know why Rikki Regal and Mikki Free aren’t here yet but after a phone call from Regal they were told to ask Mr. Richards. Richards informed everyone that a private discussion between Richards and the House of Pain had degenerated into a shouting match which led to a suspension for the HOP. The fans were in uproar as were Chase and Wrenn but cooler heads prevailed.
This company will not allow it’s superstars to degrade officials like Terrell Owens has done so this was the proper step. What will happen this Saturday is anyone’s guess but for now let’s get started with the show.
Voodoo Daddy vs. Cruizer vs. Manchild - Shadow Jackson comes out with his protégé’ Manchild and again tells VD that the “man” is holding him back and keeping him from realizing his potential. Shadow stated that if he doesn’t step away from the white face paint that white corporate America demands he wear, he may be an Uncle Tom. Shadow offers VD a chance to join with him to bring down the injustice and prejudice practiced by the “man”. Voodoo refused and Shadow left the ring. The action was great and Cruizer seemed to have the upper hand throughout the match only to see Jackson come out and steal the victory for Manchild. I see an edge starting to grow from Cruizer. I think that Cruizer will be a force to be reckoned in the tournament Saturday.
Winner - Manchild
Jeremy Vain vs. Revolution -This was an exciting high flying match that saw a lot of near falls and close counts. Revolution’s wrestling has improved by leaps and bounds over the last month. He’s fighting for respect not just from the fans but from the other wrestlers as well. Great match, which was marred by Jackson’s surprise appearance at ringside near the end of the contest.
Winner – Jeremy Vain
Scottie Wrenn vs. Mack Truck accompanied by Ashley Rose – Truck once again talked about how good Ashley Rose has been this week and how he will hate to lose her. We were all stunned to hear this coming from the lips of a fan favorite like Truck who is the sole reason that Ashley Rose now has to wear those moo-moos much to the delight of the fans. Something is up between these two I wonder if she’s snaked her way into his personal life? Man can only be so strong, what am I saying no man is that weak. Wrenn had Truck going and appeared to be on his way to an easy victory when he let Ashley Rose distract him and Truck took over. After working on Wrenn for most of the match, the ticking time bomb got his second wind and was taking it to the big muther trucker. Then all of the sudden Jackson, Manchild and Vain hit the ring, while the referee was trying to restore order Vain nailed a stiff top rope kick to Wrenn’s face and he stumbled out into a choke slam from the big trucker. Then Jackson Vain and Manchild started beating down the popular Wrenn until the Stray Cat appeared and chased away the thugs.
Winner – Mack Truck
Shadow Jackson vs. Stray Cat Brodie Ray Chase – Just as the two combatants were about to lock up and get this much anticipated match started, Jackson’s music hits and out come Manchild and Jeremy Vain. As Jackson starts to laugh and inform Chase that’s he’s about to get his tail handed to him just like they did to Wrenn, the ticking time bomb’s comes out and we have lost control and it’s about to get real ugly. Then Mr. Richards stops everything and tells everyone that he’s making this a tag match. So now we have-
Shadow Jackson and Jeremy Vain accompanied by Manchild
Vs.
Scottie Wrenn and Stray Cat Brodie Ray ChaseThis match was great with everyone fighting all over the building. It appeared Wrenn and Chase had captured the pin fall after a Stunner to Jackson and a Psycho slam on Vain, only to see Manchild jump into the ring and cause the match to be a no contest. After the match Jackson, Vain and Manchild beat down Chase and Wrenn leaving the fan favorites lying in the middle of the ring beaten and battered. What would have happened if the HOP hadn’t been suspended?
Winner – the match was declared a no contest
